CREATION OF PVRE

After launching our rebrand on T-Juice we have moved our focus to our first in-house hardware offering at Cuts Ice. This meant a new sub-brand with similar design languages to T-Juice but a completely new and younger look. The goal for this brand is give a high quality, environment friendly but affordable solution to help people give up smoking, our tagline greatly represent this:

Let’s start with the logo. We explored multiple concepts before deciding on the cleanest, most versatile option—one that allows for creative applications without being restricted by color schemes or additional icons.

PACKAGE DESIGN

We knew from the start that we wanted to carry over the iconic bolt element from our main brand, T-Juice, to create a sense of continuity between the two identities. While we chose not to include the bolt directly in the logo for this brand, we integrated it as a supporting design feature—using it as a flavor identifier placed on the side of the products. In addition to the bolt, we developed a unique holding device inspired by the angle of the "V" in the logo, helping to create a consistent visual language across various applications. By combining the logo, tagline, bolt, and holding device, we arrived at a design system that works seamlessly with our slide-out packaging format. We also paid attention to the finer details—like placing the bolt on the white cap and adding a metallic band around the pod. To elevate the tactile experience, we used embossed effects on the logo, spot UV over the hardware elements, and a matte varnish on the paper surface. Importantly, every aspect of the packaging remains 100% recyclable. Overall, I’m incredibly proud of the result. This project was a rewarding opportunity to build something from the ground up—from branding and guidelines to packaging and even diving back into 3D to create product renders for our digital platforms.

A COMPLETE REBRAND FOR T-JUICE

Soon after I joined the company, alongside my day-to-day tasks—such as creating social media visuals and online banners—I was commissioned to begin exploring concepts for a rebrand. The goal was to refresh the look of a well-established brand with a recognizable design language in the industry. I was told upfront that the rebrand would be challenging, given the number of markets, variations, and adaptations that needed to be considered. The project had been initiated several times before, but never reached a final, successful outcome—making this a unique opportunity to bring a fresh perspective and push it forward.

The most challenging part of the rebrand was the packaging design. Navigating multiple languages, regulatory requirements, and the varying needs of different international markets had a significant impact on the overall design direction. My goal was to create a clear, intuitive system that would help customers identify the right product at a glance. To achieve this, I developed a structured approach for visually distinguishing product types and flavors—making the packaging not only compliant and market-ready, but also user-friendly and visually cohesive across regions.

THE GREY SYSTEM

The first system I developed focused on simplifying product selection. To achieve this, I introduced a color-based approach: darker tones represent ready-to-use items, while lighter shades indicate more customizable products. This visual distinction was designed to guide customers quickly and intuitively toward the right choice.

FLAVOUR SYSTEM

Each product features a colored line running along the bottom, complementing the colored bolt that represents the flavor. In addition to the color system, we also introduced category labels beneath the flavor names to make product selection even more intuitive.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

We paid close attention to detail across all packaging elements to enhance the overall experience. This included a spot UV finish over the logo on the back of the boxes, an embossed Bolt icon on the front, and a matte finish to give a premium feel from the very first touch. Importantly, all boxes and labels were designed to be 100% recyclable, ensuring sustainability remained a core part of the packaging solution.

Once we finalized the packaging design and refined every detail, we documented the full set of guidelines developed throughout the process. Feel free to browse the document below. I have to say, this was a truly rewarding project. I'm proud of how the final product turned out—it was a great opportunity to dive deep into the complexities of packaging design across different markets and regulatory environments (with a big thank-you to our regulatory team for their support). I was able to prototype various versions, experiment with finishes, and collaborate closely with different departments to ensure the best balance between aesthetics and functionality. Ultimately, I delivered a refreshed look for the brand while preserving key elements from its previous identity. This is definitely a project I’ll look back on with pride.

The new design was needed due to new format requirements like, receipts, emails, POS activation, business cards and many more.

The company sales new/used Apple products and especially on the used devices it was essential to have a description of the devices close to it. First, we thought it might be a good idea to have it next to in a holder. This method worked out quite well but if we made a mistake on the print or if the device changed we had to print out a new one which isn’t the most efficient way. To solve this problem we merged the content and the phone together and move all the information on a background image. Then we thought since it’s a static image, how can we make it exciting and automated to set it back once a customer took a look at a device, “screen saver!” – came the fantastic idea to it like this so any time a customer touched a device the price and spec disappeared so we can test out the system but once we were done it quickly went back the screen saver.

ENTRANCE DESIGN

I made a stencil design and we attached it to the door, next we spray painted the exposed part. After the first couple layer it started to look like this, and once we took off the stencil, comes the final part. Looks amazing and does the job what we brainstormed previously.

NEW SHOPPING BAG

In the new store especially on the opening we wanted to create something unique for the customers what they can take away and since we give out bags for customers the idea just popped in our head, let’s redesign the bags. We took everything from the old design, contact, slogan and the revamped logo as well.

“IN-STORE” PROMO

We always wanted to give a special look to the store, inform the customers about products and offers. We used products and accessories what they can do together, showcase the product what we sell or just simply let them know that we are here.
